I’m the heart and hands behind this little corner of the fiber world. My name is Shilo, and I’m a passionate knitter, spinner, and fiber craft enthusiast. What started as a hobby grew into a deep love for creating beautiful, lasting pieces by hand – and eventually, into Forever Handmade.
I began my knitting journey in 2006 out of spite (long story) and had no idea I would want to make this a way of life. From those first stitches, it has grown into a source of joy that fills my down time and fills my brain during my uptime. No matter what is going on in my life, I always return for the joy.
That’s why I am here… the joy. Whether it is swooning over a new fiber I tried, obsessing over a new project bag pattern, or designing a garment that I loved to knit, I do it for the joy it brings.
